hey.. aren't u guys using the precompiled binaries of alsa..i mean is'nt it meant for the pcq/deadrat 7.1 kernel only?? i'm not sure abt this but look around the /lib/modules/ dir of ur distro, u may find the modules for ur card..AFAIK, Opl3sax card is supported by the oss-free drivers in the kernel itself cheers Sayamindu
