hi friends, Can anybody plz tell me about the usage of ADPCM codecs in simple voip application which uses UDP as a transport protocol, does it affect transmission/recieving time and what will be the compression ratio of this algorithm. I had downloaded two different ADPCM source codes from net.can i able to communicate with other Voip apllications like UBIQUITY's SIP PHONE using this codecs?so as to meet interoperability. Which type of codecs will give the better voice quality? thanking u regards nawaz
