The Motorola sm56 had support for Kernel upto 2.4.5 .
The Winmodem section of the company is closed.
The driver is binary only and seems to be broken for above kernel nos. I am
using 2.4.14 and it fails to work. Can some body tell me if there is a
workaround . Is there somebody working on the open source drivers for it
.Kindly give the required info if available.
Does the XFree86 4.1.0 supports the RENDER extension for intel 810 chipset .
I am using 4.0.3
but it seems to be unsupported in it so I am devoid of the fancy
anti-aliased fonts.
Is there a way to upgrade only the i810 module of the 4.0.3.
