hi all,
i needed a little help with samba, i have a lan with
windows 2000 machines(a major upgrade this time) and i
have one of the machines working as a printserver, 
all the windows machine are able to print to this
printer(HP-710c) but that is not wherethe problem
lies.
i have a linux box which acts as a masq gateway, and a
firewall, and file server,which essentially means that
i also have samba working on linux.
all the windows machines can access this file share on
linux however i am unable to print to the windows
printer share using linux, 
i desperately need help tomake this happen.
please help me out with it. i have dhcp running on the
linux machine however i have seen that sinci i dont
have toreboot my server i dont see the ip of the
printer machine to change its ip address. specifically
i need help with the following things
[1] do i need to change my print cap file?

        :ml=0:\
        :mx=0:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/prn:\
        :lp=|/usr/share/printconf/smbprint:\
        :lpd_bounce=true:\

or do i need to change my samba file?(which i think
isnt needed but i may ne wrong)
nbmlookup isable to locate the ip address as well

[admin@proxy admin]$ nmblookup terminal4
querying terminal4 on 192.168.0.255
192.168.0.6 terminal4<00>
[admin@proxy admin]$

and  i also have the .config file int he spool dir as
well.

[root@proxy prn]# cat .config
server = 192.168.0.6
service = networkprn
password = ""
[root@proxy prn]#

please let me know where can i check.
