A bit of rap-on-the knuckes first :-
a) NEVER quote a whole digest, for a mail which has absolutely
no relevance to what you quoted.
b) Whenever you ask something ... be specific about it in the
Subject: line. Your subject should be "squid help" or some-
thing to that effect. Not a [Reply] to a digest reference.
c) ALWAYS wrap your text at a decent length.
d) Be specific about your query. How else can somebody help ?
Next, for your problem :
a) What is the nature of your problem ? Please read all the
docs in the squid online docs, and then post the problem.
There are quite a few people on the list who can help you
with specific queries, but none of them are wizards to know
your problems.
Sorry to be curt :-)

Fed up of typing password for every login as an user on stand
alone boxes ? Use chpasswd ... As root type in:
#echo 'username:' | /usr/bin/chpasswd [Note the colon : after
user name]. Next login with that username, would need [Enter]
to be pressed on the password prompt ...
