What latest version... the most stable 'doze I've seen so far is win95 OSR2
(or Win98 SE) with a lot of security and bugfix patches applied one by one
from Microsoft's download site.  Most local dealers are too stupid to get the
entire patch cluster downloaded and burnt onto CD (any comp dealer who's
bundling windows with his computer should do this, ideally ... patches for MS
Office and Win98 are necessary for both stability and protection against
vbscript worms).

Once that's done, disable windows scripting host and set outlook express'
or outlook's security settings to "Restricted Zone".
