You might need to use a fresh .kde directory and remove all .DCOP* files
in your $HOME.

If you have some customized applnk files, back them up and remove .kde and
restart kde.
This should install a fresh .kde directory for you. Then copy your custom
applnk files to the relevant locations and you should be set.
