Peace : ####[ Linux One Stanza Tip (LOST) ]########################### Sub : Emacs, something you run only once ! LOST #156 Once you start the first emacs process, all you do is put in your ~/.emacs file "(server-start)" and the server is ON. All clients can connect. For subsequent use, (e.g. in mailing) set the environment variables $VISUAL and $EDITOR to "emacsclient" Firing emacs repeatedly sets off many instances of full emacs. ####<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>####################################### : _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
