It will play only the old Quicktime movies. The new ones with the different
patented codecs won't play unless someone reverse engineers QT binary :-)

mplayer guys have tried that and not been sucessful.

Once you start the  first emacs  process, all you do is put in
your ~/.emacs file "(server-start)" and the server is ON.  All
clients can connect. For subsequent use, (e.g. in mailing) set 
the environment variables $VISUAL and $EDITOR to "emacsclient" 
Firing emacs repeatedly sets off many instances of full emacs.
