Hi Vinod, Boot from the CD-1 of Mandrake and resize your Win ME partition (Mandrake has the option for creating new partitions and resizing existing partitions) and continue installation. I've not tried it out since I'ven't faced this situation but I feel it should work.
Ajay Shankar Hi, I am new to this list. Please excuse me if this question has been asked earlier. I have a Compaq presario desktop at home pre-installed with Win ME. I was trying to install Mandrake 7.1 using the lnx4win utility. After a few initial steps, the process hangs after the message "in second stage install". Could someone help me with this? I donot have a free partition on my disk as Win ME was factory installed and has taken up the entire 30 GB partition. If there is any tool that can create a new partition off the existing Win ME, that'll help too. Thanks, Vinod. _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
