Yes, I get charts/ graphs in .eps format > Why did you stop using GIMP for conversion as somebody had suggested ? GIMP helps when I have .ps file which embed graphics that are not with me separately. When I have these individual companents, then there is no need to use GIMP. GIMP has no direct way to save as ps or eps format. This also appears me a limitation. Latex produces .dvi file. Now I have to convert this 'dvi' file in 'eps' format. Earlier I used 'dvips' to get 'ps' file. Then I produced 'eps' file from 'ps' using 'convert'. But, when *.tex file include eps graphic ( which was made up a number of .eps file) , this procedure fails. Even I tries 'dvips' with -E option to produce EPSF ( I hope this is eps ), but results are no better.
