hi, i have a bt878 chipset-based tv tuner card (genius video wonder pro II) which is working rather nicely after a little bit of tweaking with xawtv, even in fullscreen mode. there is a small catch however..."v4l-conf" gives this output:
"v4l-conf: using x11 display :0.0 dga version 2.0 WARNING: No DGA support available for this display mode: 800 x 600, depth=24, bpp=32, bpl=3200, base=unknown." i have to enter the video card memory base address everytime manually as root using the "v4l-conf" with the "-a" switch. once that is done everything works fine. anyway of automating this? thanks for your time and regards, subash. -- : ####[ Linux One Stanza Tip (LOST) ]########################### Sub : Linux through NT boot loader LOST #082 To add linux to NT boot loader menu, in Linux do: #dd -if=/dev/hdaN -of=/tmp/boot.lnx bs=512 count=1 [where N is the partition of the Linux "/" (root dir)] Ensure /tmp/boot.lnx is 512 bytes.
