Hi everyone
I am interested in logging through a secure
connection to my workstation in the lab from my PC at
home.I tried to configure the settings
/etc/hosts.allow file by plugging in this line.
sshd:ALL
(openssh is installed in my workstation running on
linux)
but when I try to log in thro my secure SSH client at
home I get the error message saying that the network
is down or miconfigured firewall . Actually I was able
to log on earlier with the settings of "ALL:ALL" in
/etc/hosts.allow file (which was obvious) .
My workstation is not behind any firewall.Cud someone
guide me regarding this. Thanks in advance
regards
chandrasekar
