As per the lilo.conf manpage, the bitmap and message exclusive options. I tried the above suggestion and nothing came on the screen (of course the old text screen menu was there :-)
My problem is when I am converting logo.gif (found in the kernel tree) to logo.bmp, I am only able to get 640x480x8 image. Using this, lilo complains about wrong format for the bitmap file. How can I get a 640x480x16 bmp file? If anybody has one of tux, can they mail it to me offlist?
