Step 1: Leave your /dev/hda alone for the moment. We will create
more space for your RH later on by shifting stuff to
/dev/hdb later on
Step 2: Boot through RH, and run fdisk "/dev/hdb". Create three
partitions of 2 GB each and the balance 14 GB can be
made into an extended with multiple logicals under it.
Step 3: You can share your existing swap between RH & Caldera
Step 4: Install Caldera in /dev/hdb1, and maybe /usr of Caldera
in a 2 GB extended-logical partition in /dev/hdb
Step 5: Do NOT put LILO in MBR. Use existing LILO from RH to do
the triple booting. You will have to do the editing of
/etc/lilo.conf by hand and call the Caldera Partition
(viz /dev/hdb1). Do a "lilo -v" after the edit. It will
re-write the map files and the MBR to accommodate your
new OS. It will boot Caldera when chosen. See the docu-
mentation for LILO. It gives the steps for a multiple-
linux boot set up. ( Ofcourse you have the option of
doing a triple-boot with Loadlin, after a regular DOS
boot up. I have a HDI on this at my home page at ...
http://geocities.com/usmbish/).

The advantage of grub over LILO is in overcoming the 1024-cyl
problems of older LILOs. Otherwise not much of an advantage.
Neither of them can boot an UMSDOS installation whereas good
old loadlin can.

I thought Rajesh put a posting on this on LIH today. You need
to run the install script.
