There seems to some major problem with your installation.
This kmswap thing is NOT a  kernel message.  There  is a
thing called "kswapd" which is necessary to be run before
modules can be loaded. Probably your kernel image is co-
rrupt. You need to boot through your boot/ rescue floppy
and copy the kernel to /boot.

If it is kmpswap, then disregard above. I do not know.

You cannot learn Linux in 2 days. I have NOT  learnt  it
in the last SIX years ! Still groping with basics !
