1. NT is not a website ripper, but a file downloader. for two good
rippers, search freshmeat.net for "getleft" and "httrack".

2. jdk is not installed by default on linux systems. an installer
binary is distributed by sun microsystems, but it is not rpm. you get
the rpm when you execute the binary. the install directory varies
from point release to point release.
you may want to look at "jikes", which is an alternative java
compiler under the IBM Public License, and "kaffe", which is a GPL-ed
virtual machine for running java programmes. these are small in size
and bundled with most distros. if you create a symlink from the kaffe
binary to /usr/bin/java, most programmes requiring java will run
happily.
