Good Linux to e'body, Suppose I have RH and Slackware installed on the same m/c in 2 diff partitions. I need to increase my /root partition size.
Can it be possible to : 1) Copy all the /(root) files/dirs to a temp dire of the same Linux partion or to other(2nd) installed Linux partition. 2) Delete the / partition of the 1st Linux 3) Create/Increase/Set the new / partition on the 1st Linux partition. (cfdisk etc. ) 4) Copy back all the files/dirs from the temp dir to this newly created / parttion. Will it work ? Sorry for my 'dumb' logic ! I feel damn 'lazy' to re-install the Linux Box, just to increase the /(root) partition ! HAND&N ! Thanks & Regards ! ~newlxuser _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
