Hi,

Has anyone done this before? I have SuSE 6.3 [2.2.14 and I know I need to
upgrade :-)] which is working fantastically. I wish to schedule backup of
three machines on the network which I with to implement by NFS exporting
the directories writable to the respective machines.

Just one glitch. ext2 works fine. But when it comes to backing up nearly
40 G of data, I wonder how long the fsck shall take every time it needs to
repair my FS. ReiserFS or ext3 would have been the choice.

I have SuSE 7.1 CDs with me - licensed, professional. Which has reiserFS,
but before I remove my 6.3 in favour of 7.1, I need to be sure that NFS
export shall not be a problem.

First hand experiences, theory and pointers please. In the same order.

Rohit
