I don't think experimental systems should be on a production box.  
That's what you have a test system for - with all your test distros.  
A production system would have just the one distro - the stable one.

And, yes, my bread does depend on things working.  That's why I need to 
know how things break, and how to fix them when they do.

Frankly, I wouldn't post a question on a lug until I've tried to solve 
it myself for a few weeks at least.  I'm more likely to post my findings 
later than to ask a question in the first place.
