In KDE, we have an icon on the task panel that brings one back to the desktop (by minimising all open windows) , just like in windoze, but Gnome does not have such an option/icon
I was wondering if there was any way to implement this facility in gnome as it is very helpful to me, currently to do this I keep an emplty workspace and shift to it whenever i need to go to the desktop, i find this too cumbersome and am in need of an easier method.
