hi
  for mounting Win9X do
$smbmount //<winpc>/<sharename> <mountpoint> -o password="" (if no password for win 
share)

if u hav veri old samba then do
$smbmount //<winpc>/<sharename> <mountpoint> -N -I <ip of winpc>

same can be done by mount but u need to specify filesystem like "mount -f smbfs ....."

as far as Win NT/2k is concerned u should try 
"mount -t ntfs/os2" (i m not sure of nt/2k .......)
