greetings guys,
I am using suse 7.3 professional( just brought) with kernel 2.4.10.

I have enabled pop3 server from inetd.conf file
// uncomment the pop3, pop2 and imap lines.

now whenever i start outlook express and connect to the
server, it kills the request saying

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'eslserver', Server: 'eslserver', Protocol: POP3, Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

When i do telnet eslserver pop3 from windows,
it connects, but after few seconds , it looses the connection with server.

it seems that the server is killing the connection.

Jan 11 04:06:31 eslserver popper[1530]: connect from 110.110.110.75

What is this popper and where can i find it?
i have checked rpm -qa | grep imap and it gives
imap version 2000c-110

and the file list of imap(rpm -ql imap) it does not contain popper

pls suggest me solution.
