None of the current distros can be  installed  from  floppies to
ext2. The best strategy would be to use M$ partition  itself and
carry larger stuff in floppy chunks (asplit/ ajoin) and reassem-
ble on the M$ parition.

What I wanted to say was, since  M$ would have to be  installed
first, it can  handle its own partitioning. Once Pygmy is inst-
alled change things (if necessary through Linux).  There  is no
pre-partitioning necessary for M$.

Yes, you can, but there is no necessity for pre-partitioning.

Agreed here too. He may put other stuff in /home as well.And 
6 months in an ICU will normally  see a  patient  climb  the
stairway to Heaven six times !
