Good Linux to e'body,

I want a sample of small shell script
which when executed will change the
defualt blinking cursor to a block or
reverse cursor, if a particular condi-
tion is true. Like :

if deviation>=37 then
turn default cursor size to block cursor
   ...
   ...
   (other statements )
else
turn block cursor size to default cursor
   ...
   ...
   (other statements )
end if

How to go for it ? Any idea ?

PS: If it is a LIP stuff, kindky transfer it
to LIP, please. I do'nt mind it in C/C++,
but would definately prefer shell script.
In DOS I used to do it with BIOS calls.

Regards !

== Point to Ponder ======== [EMAIL PROTECTED] =====

*The BEST discussion I have "heard", in recent days:*

Philip Tellis : Basically, security through obscurity
                is no security at all.
Kingsly John : True! but it's anyday better than *no
                security* !

Raju Mathur : The first step to any kind of security
              is awareness,the second constant vigi-
              lance. Both security through obscurity
              and incomplete/incompetent security
              infra-structure defeat these purposes.
