I got myself a copy of PCQ Linux 7.1 recently. Due a
faulty cd the installation process woudn't go past
loading sbin. But after copying the entire contents of
the CD to the hard disk and running autoboot.bat from
the dosutils it would go past the above mentioned
problem. But now it asks for the copy of the Red Hat
7.0 cdboot image. There exists a file in the
dosutils/images directory called cdboot.img but even
after providing the location of the partion and the
directory to the program it gives the error cannot
find cdboot image.

I have a 32GB HDD which is divided into a 4GB primary
partition with Win 98 and 2 other extended FAT32
partitions 4GB each. The installtion files are located
in the third partition. Could the problem be beacuse
the installtion files are located beyond the 8GB boot
boundry limit?

Should the CD directory structure start in a root
directory of the drive in which it is stored or can it
be in any location?

I intend to use loadlin to load linux and not lilo.
