Hi,
I am a newbie to Linux and I am in the process of
finding out the best Linux flavour for me. I am
looking at Red Hat 7.2 and Mandrake 8.1. I got my
hands on the PCQLinux 7.1 and found it pretty good. I
also installed Mandrake 8.1 from DeveloperIQ. This
only had the first installation CD. I faced a few
problems with Mandrake in getting the CD drive and
floppy (doesn't work yet). Could anyone suggest me the
better of the two? I have heard that Mandrake is more
of a home user OS and RH is more of a workstation. I
would like to strike a balance between being a home
user and a developer. Is there any comparison chart on
the web?
