Can you tell us what version of Grub you have got ? Do an 'rpm -q grub' and find out the version. As Kingsly was mentioning in a connected grub thread earlier, get the latest version of grub v0.90/0.91. Compile the source and install it. Come to the grub prompt and embed grub in your MBR once again with the requisite line for chain-loading Win 9x/Win whatever after booting into the GNU OS via your loadlin. Later on you can compile the newer CVS source and start grubbing.... -- /(__ __|\ ragOO, VU2RGU<->http://gnuhead.dyndns.org/<->GPG: 1024D/F1624A6E ( \/ __)_ Helping to keep the Air-Waves FREE Amateur Radio ) (_____ / Helping to keep your Software FREE the GNU Project /___________/ Helping to keep the W W W FREE Debian GNU/${kernel} _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
