U need to upgrade to Kernel 2.4.x
As far as distros are concerned RHL 7.x works like a dream out of the box.
Basically, the drivers used for 810/815/845/850 mrbds are the same.
Generally X gives no problem but sound does croak on some mbrds where the
OEM has used some fancy chipset for audio.
As far as doing s'thing to the Me partition is concerned --- just be careful
how you partition and where you place lilo. IMHO (if u get urself a RHL 7.2)
use GRUB instead of LILO.
