Good lord ... you think I'm putting NIIT faculty members in concentration
camps and organizing riots against them or something? ;)

The really good faculty members from these centers, in my experience,
generally are just filling in time there - and quit to far better paying and
fulfilling jobs as and when they can get such jobs (coding and sysadmin
stuff...).
That, plus widespread franchising means that any tom, dick and harry with a
few lakh rupees can set up an "aptech centre" ... so standards vary wildly.

We are all aware that "cd .." will return you to the previous
directory on the tree, similarly, if a file is to be copied to
the prvious directory, you may do "cp filename .." ... For the
home directory, instead of ".." use a "~" (viz. cd ~ or cp ~/)
