Hai,
In my brother's Institute, he has installed PCQ 7.1. The box is
dual boot with Win95 and PCQ and is one
of the 5 clients in WinNT network. The hardware configuration is as
follows:
Intel Celeron 600, 10GB HDD, 64 MB RAM, D-Link DE 528 Ethernet PCI Adapter.
He wants to connect to the Linux box from other Win95 clients.
Using Windows Telnet he gave Telnet with IP Address of Linux Box. The
error message was Connect failed.
he repeated this from other Win95 machines also. The same error message
was shown.
In netconf he checked lo and eth0 and both are active with respective IP
addresses.
He pinged two other Win95 machines from Linux box and reply came from
those machines with zero packet loss.
But the vice versa is not happening.
What could be the reason?
