Hi listers, I installed Caldera linux (PCQ CD) on 3 rd PC today. Then I proceeded to install Star Office 5.1 . Installation went on smoothly.(Standard workstation installation). Then for each user the Star Office had to be installed. I logged in as user. When the installation started , it was saying "script file is being read" , it splashed Star Office 5.1 logo, then it blinked out. I tried for another user , but the same result.
I checked up setup.log file, it reported no errors (errors =0). I have installed the same Star office in Redhat 6.1, 6.2 or PCQ 7.1 without any problem. What could be wrong ? I s there any known compatibility issues between Caldera and Star Office ?
