i have a genius video wonder pro II (based on bt878) and xawtv gets most
of the stations (exceptions: star world and discovery) with the following
settings in my .xawtv:
norm = PAL
input = Television
capture = over
freqtab= europe-west

my /etc/modules.conf also has these:
alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv card=16 tuner=22
options tuner debug=1

i have mplayer compiled with tv input feature but haven't tried it yet
though. there was a howto on configuring bttv cards with frequency table
listings on linux.com sometime back. regards, subash.

Sub : Creating an empty file (#2) LOST #234

To create an empty file, do 'touch filename'. In case a file
with the same name exists, only the date and time stamp is all
that is changed. If it does not exist, a new zero byte file is
made with that name.
