Hi,

I kick a very weird problem during I set up CVS (serevr/client)
(cvs-1.11p). Any user is ok to login to CVS pserver; and import directory
into that cvs server. However, when I try to checkout that directory (I just import
into
CVS), I just can not check it out.
The error message seems weird.

cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore :Permission denied
cvs server: cannot chdir(/root/): Permission Denied

I check the directory's ownship (myself) and group (cvs). And I think it
is ok for me to login. But why I need the previlige of root to checkout my
file? Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

P.s. I also try cvs-1.10.* version; and I get some trouble. I think I
miss some configures; otherwise, theresome be a lot complain about CVS.
Any idea?

Chien
