Precisely. Sendmail is the one to use if you're scripting for
multiple platforms, and the -t flag is meant specifically for this
function. I can do the same thing in Emacs also, but I'd think many
times before suggesting it as a scripting option :-)

All fine, but if I use sendmail I'm guaranteed that the script will
work on any Unix. Mutt is an ``optional extra''. Ever wonder why
you'd have to hunt high and low to find a mailing script that uses
mutt instead of sendmail?
