go back and learn your school math.
180 longitudes in each hemisphere (east/west)
360 longitudes == 24hours
==> 1 longitude == 15minutes
find out how many longitudes away from Greenwich, multiply by 15, round
to the nearest hour. India is the only country on a half hour boundary.
PS. I have a story to tell about India's time zone and Windows 95 if
anyone is interested.
