So men, here is the problem. In theory, and good analysis itself shall be
appreciated.

And earlier version of OS had it all configured. The fast/wide SCSI disk
was connected to the mainboard - which does not support fast/wide-scsi
natively, by the way - through an adapter.

The OS was upgraded and all the devices were detected, even the card which
sits between the external disk and the mainboard and the driver for the
same was loaded fine.

Problem is that the HDDs attached to that do not get detected as HDDs at
all. Or as any other device for that matter. They are powered on before
the system comes up - and were working fine very well before the upgrade,
the whole assembly.

On first glance, what does it look like to you?
