Sounds like borg collective in star trek. 

Only missing links are providing physical energy to any node of collective and 
bending law pf physics beyond limit typical to sci-fi like teleporting and 
travels faster than light..

0th generation borg may be..

But if computer are going to be implanted on nervous system, can you imagine 
what a virus outbreak can do?..;-)

Of course, you will use ACLs by default then but still...;-)
