For playing ACD's there are some players provided in KDE and GNOME in
multimedia section in their menus.
For playing VCD's you have to install mplayer or Xine. Xine is on PCQ August
2001 CD, if you can get it or download mplayer.
KDE media player can also play *.dat (VCD) files. Just associate *.dat files
with Kde media player or open *.dat file with kde media player.
