Hi List,
I have foll. setup

client(172.16.0.5) <---> router(172.16.0.1)  <-----> dns server(172.16.0.2)

Earlier, the clients didn't have router do the dns server had ip of
172.16.0.1, and the clients had their dns server as 172.16.0.1
Now, i have added a router in between with ip of 172.16.0.1 and dns server
has ip of 172.16.0.2
The clients still have their dns as 172.16.0.1
can i forward dns packet queries from client to 172.16.0.2 and then service
the client???
I know i can run DNS on 172.16.0.1 and set forwarders as 172.16.0.2,
but i don't want to install a dns server on the router.

Is there such a forwarding facility using ipchains??
