The problem is that the printer is not a postscript printer and since the Linux printing system does not work on non-postscript printers without the correct filters the DMP just prints the PS file contents as text.
What you need is to use something like apsfilter to handle non-text output. It is also possible that the printing system in Linux assumes you have a PS printer and is automatically converting all print output to PS. If so, disable this. -Naren On Tue, 12 Feb 2002, H.S.Rai wrote: > On Tue, 12 Feb 2002, Doraiswamy Murugavelu wrote: > > > the printer prints in post-script format in Linux. The > > lpd is working fine. > > > the problem, so that the printer works in Linux > > operating system . > > Please tell you problem in more clear terms. > > H.S.Rai > > > _______________________________________________ > linux-india-help mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help > _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
