hi,
I want to mount a smb share automatically at boot.It is being mounted
but i am not able to write to the mounted filesystem as an ordinary
user.
my entry in /etc/fstab is
//rajiv/f       /home/manohar/f smbfs
user,username=dayalan,password=mypasswd,rw 00
the direcory /home/manohar has the permissions 755 and is owned by
manohar/users.after mounting it appears as owned by root/root.what do i
have to do to be able to write to the mounted filesystem as user
manohar/users?I've cahanged the perms of /etc/fstab to 600 because the
password is stored in it.that does not make a difference.

-Dayalan
