- Does that means This modem is not supported in 2.4.8 kernel from Mandrake
Linux 8.1 too?

-  And another querry,   instead of using whole PCQ 7.1 linux just for the
support of modem, can the RH 7.2 kernal be downgraded to older kernal like
7.1's?
