Pawan,

I have not tried XP, but could not manage dual boot with
2k with lilo/ grub. The problem arises from the fact that
NT and Family (NT/2k/XP) does not use normal 32-bit part-
itions like 9x, and the access to the boot mechanism of
these OSs through lilo becomes the issue.

Kingsly had stated eralier of some guy at B'lore LUG has
managed such a thing but details are not known. The LBA32
in lilo.conf technique did not work for me on 2k ... The
method advocated by Ajay (viz go through boot.ini), is
perhaps the better route.I have tried it on both NT and 2k
wih 100% success.

I have out up a detailed How-Do-I document on my home page
for dual boot with NT, with step by step process. It is
likely to work for XP. If needed have a look at:

http://geocities.com/usmbish/hdi.html

Please confirm back on list if it works ...
