Use,
>/usr/share/public      192.168.0.0(rw,no_root_squash)
instead of
>/usr/share/public      192.168.0.0(rw)
Also on your server see if you can locally mount the fs other wise check
using
rpcinfo -p <hostname>
check for nfs,
please make sure portmap is running and is listening, and no firewall is
stopping the link
