sm56 - you are mostly out of luck unless you download the proprietory drivers
Motorola provides and stick to that particular version of kernel. Ditch it
and get a real modem (any cheap DLink external modem should do)
Soundblasters should normally configure out of the box - run sndconfig as
root and it will configure itself.
