if you found it in one of the 4-in-1 CDs it's most probably for their sound card.. not display drivers... display drivers will have to come from XFree or someone will have to contribute for that... what is the exact model number of your motherboard.. do a google search with that model number and linux ... and you'll find the exact status of the cards support. |I am at a loss sice I do not know to which directory I should un-tar |the contents to .... or am I simply too puzzled to think straight ? It's most probably source that needs to be compiled... I got my sound cards drivers on the via cd ... they were terribly outdated ... your distro or the latest kernel will have better drivers.
