Sir,
I've sent the following message on Feb 14 2002.I thank you for the
immediate reply.

Earlier message:
------- -------
I've installed Win2k Server on my computer at first, then I installed Linux
the PCQ cds. While installing Linux,i forgot to select the install LILO
option, however I created the boot disk.As a result, I'm unable to boot into
Linux, directly without using the boot floppy.I tried to put options for OS,by
editing the boot.ini file in Win.Then I realised that I dint install LILO,
because even though I get the options on boot up,i'm unable to boot into
Linux.Can u suggest me the procedure,if any,so that I can install just
LILO,without re-installation of the entire OS.

 This message:
 ---- -------
I've issued the following command,as mentioned in the reply.
# /sbin/lilo -t -v
 & got the following output:
"Fatal: Cannot put boot sector on logical partition 0x305"
 I couldn't understand what this meant.Can u explain this to me.I'd also
like to know the procedure to edit the file /etc/lilo.conf ie.,what do I
set in this?
  - I've win2k server & linux on my m/c.
-I don't want to install lilo on MBR.
 - I want to set the options for OSs by editing the boot.ini file in Win.&
I want to come to Linux when I select the linux option.

Can u give me rough code for setting this?
Thankyou.
