You are out of luck.. the motorola drivers will only work with rh7.1 I think ... motorola has gotten out of the modem business ... so you will no longer get new drivers for any operating system from them. Go out and get yourself a *real* aka external modem. (the amount of money you'll save in phone bills alone will pay up the difference) |also i have c-media 8738 sound chip, and i don't have knowledge to |configure sound in linux. as root .. run sndconfig .. if it's unable to configure you card .. then it's most probably not supported by the kernel drivers... it is supported by ALSA though ... www.alsa-project.org you'll need to download the stuff from there and follow instructions... if you run into any trouble post back to the list and we can help you out.
