Hi there,
        I had installed logwatch (freshmeat.net) and logcheck (psionic.com) a
couple of days back. I find both these utilities have a strange way of
reporting things. For example when it parses the secure log file, it
reports like "Unmatched entries" and lists all the logins and activities
etc. in one section only (ie. secure-log). What i actually want to do is
like to report in this manner :

* Failed DNS lookups *
....
* Failed SU attempts*
.....
* Failed login attempts*
....
* Successfull SU attempts*
...
* Successfull logins from *
....
* Unmatched categories*
...

Both logwatch and logcheck put all of this in one entry "secure-log".
Are there any scripts available for displaying results like this ?? . I
tried google, freshmeat etc but couldn't find any tool like what i want.
Is there any other utility which can do this ???

Have u guys customized logwatch or logcheck to do something like this
??. If u have, could u pls tell me what i need to report to my
requirement ??.
