I dont think so. It may not be running on the LAN or public inbterface.
netstat -tlp on the sendmail server should show you that.

AFAIK, If it is Redhat 7.2 ,the default sendmail installation 
runs only on the loopback interface. You will have to modify sendmail.mc
and comment out the below line 

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')

and then create the cf file.
